Skylon Tower

The Skylon South Development aimed at providing pedestrians increased access to the Skylon Tower and it’s amenities. Sited along Murray Hill opposite Fallsview Casino, the project was comprised of discrete elements including a new 3 unit retail facility (including Starbucks Coffee, Dairy Queen and a new 4D theatre). A new ticket booth along Murray Hill and a new outdoor escalator and elevator delivers pedestrians to the Skylon south Plaza Level. A new pedestrian bridge linked the South entry to the pedestrian promenade leading to the Fallsview Casino. Optimizing exposure to significant tourist traffic, this development incorporates carefully considered usage of signage, lighting and marketing elements to effectively convey its presence both day and night.
