Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church

This significant addition to the historic Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in Port Dalhousie doubled the previous worship area, providing a new Sanctuary at the rear of the facility, and two new transepts on both sides of the existing nave. Each transept featured new exterior entries and stairwells to the Lower Level. Barrier Free access was provided via a new ramp and hydraulic lift, delivering parties to the main level for worship, or to the lower level which includes: a fellowship hall, two children’s liturgy areas, a kitchen / server and miscellaneous support spaces.
