Welland Civic Centre

In association with CS&P Architects Inc

This project combined several needs of the City of Welland into one solution. Both the City Hall and Public Library were in need of new facilities and the City embarked on a downtown revitalization project. Entrance to the City Hall was provided from Main Street and entrance to the Library was provided from Canal Service Road. The new civic square was designed to engage both the Council Chamber, reading as a free standing object and with the existing historic 19th century limestone courthouse.
