John Brant Public School

This new school borrows historical design cues from the building it replaced and includes a re-interpretation of the previous school’s clock tower. Additionally, it incorporates existing (and sizeable) limestone pediments salvaged from the original school, prominently featured into the new Main Entry. The new school accommodates the increased enrolment of two surrounding schools while also providing a new Daycare facility for 24 Pre-Schoolers and 15 Toddlers. The main program areas in this 53,000 sq. ft. school include: 4 Kindergartens, 18 Classrooms, LRT Room, Gymnasium with sprung wood floor, Library, Administrative block, Staff Room, and indoor Mechanical and Electrical Room.
